Technical Support Specialist

NETbilling is seeking an experienced full time technical support specialist to work on site as part of our 40+ person staff. We are Covid safety conscious in our offices, providing separated offices and following safe distancing work spaces.

We are seeking a self-starter with the ability to ask questions, learn quickly, multi-task and work independently. We'd like someone who enjoys problem solving and thinking outside of the box. Responsibilities: 

As a member of our technical support team, you'll primarily provide support to our merchants and staff for our supported transaction processing platforms. Working with a variety of softwares and hardware to help support our day to day office operations. 

Qualifications: 

Applicants must have strong troubleshooting and communication skills over the phone, email, messenger, CRM, help desk and in person. 

  • Minimum requirements: - 1-2 years experience in a technical support role.
  • 1-2 years experience with Windows server products, including Active Directory and Group Policy (Azure and Microsoft 365 is a plus).
  • 1-2 years experience with Linux (RHEL-based derivatives preferred).
  • Proficient with workstation and peripheral hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, updating, replacement.
  • Computer networking knowledge (ethernet, switches, routers, firewalls, DNS, etc).
  • Experience with various web development technologies (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc).
  • Experience with web and database servers.
  • Familiar with hardware virtualization.
  • Familiar with CMS and CRM systems.
What We Offer: 

You will receive training about our payment gateway and other services we offer. You will also learn on the fly as new situations and edge cases present themselves.

Annual salary $45k+ based on experience.
