Miva 4 Module Installation:

The module is installed just like any other module.
Miva documents the process nicely, here, including diagrams:

Netbilling4.mv is, of course, a payment module.
Thus after the installation, the customer needs to go to:
Stores > store name > Payment Configuration, to enable and then use the module.

An existing Netbilling user will need to remove their current version of the
module before installing the 4.x version. This version is not an update for
the 2.x or 3.x versions but is a replacement. We recommend that the
customer backs up their existing module and its data, before removing the
old version and installing the new.

This can be done by:

1. copying the old module to their hard drive using FTP. The module is
normally going to be in: Merchant2/modules/payment/ and will be called
netbilling2_Merchantv3.mv. In a 4.x store, the module will be in
Merchant2/4.x/modules.

2. copying the data directories to their hard drive using FTP. The data is in
htsdata/Merchant2/0000000n/ezic2n All the files in that directory need to be copied.

After these two steps have been taken, the customer can remove the old
module from their store. This is done by a two step process:

1. going to Payment Configuration and unassigning the module

2. clicking on Modules > Netbilling, Inc and then the "Delete" button.

However Miva Merchant may give a warning if old orders are still on the
server. The customer will either have to delete all old orders or trick Miva
Merchant into thinking that they have removed all orders. It is much better
to remove all old orders--for security reasons, keeping orders on the server
is not a good idea anyway--but if they don't want to delete them, they will
need to follow the steps outlined here:

1. go to Modules > Netbilling, Inc and remove the check mark from the Active
box

2. hit Update

3. Go to Payment Configuration and dis-assign the module

4. Go to Modules > Netbilling, Inc and hit "Delete"

The customer can then install the new version.
